Old Mutual US, based in Boston, is the successor parent to United Asset Management (UAM) of 20 leading boutique asset management firms. It also acquired and has rebranded the assets and business lines of Fidelity and Guarantee Life Insurance Company (F&G). Old Mutual manages approximately $550 billion in assets.

• Project Mandate: Create a multi-product, firm overview for Old Mutual US, a subsidiary of Old Mutual PLC (Symbol:OML), to be delivered by the firm’s CEO, Scott Powers, that gives a overview of the firm’s history, product array, and manager acquisition strategy. Its intended use was to be for clients and shareholders as well as potential asset manger acquisition candidates.
• Result: In the resulting presentation we were able in 6 minutes 30 seconds to address not only the firm’s history, and transition in strategy since its acquisition of UAM and F&G Life but also give an overview of their diverse range of product offerings.
