Video Production
MediaDoor's primary product is our FLASH Pitch video, a short high-impact multi-media presentation combining audio, video, still photo and graphic animation. As detailed in the table below, we offer 3 versions of our FLASH Pitch video.
Our Snapshot is for short overviews and is 1.5-minutes in length. It may include one principal, in addition to the narrator. The Advisor video is up to 3-minutes in length and may include 2 firm principals and offers additional charts and graphic animation. Our Institutional video is up to 5-minutes in length, allows the use of up to 4 firm principals and may include multiple charts, and performance information.

Options & Additions:
- Principals & PM’s: To add an additional principal or portfolio manager to either the Advisor or Institutional FlashPitch is $500.
- Narration: Pricing assumes MediaDoor “house” narration. Contract narration adds $250 plus a pass through of the artist rate (typically $250-$500).
- Charts, Tables & Graphs: Additional performance charts, tables, or graphics may be added to a video for $250 each.
- Custom Video Footage: If your firm has custom “B”-roll footage that you would like used in a presentation, it can be incorporated for a flat fee of $1,000.
- Additional Minutes: For each minute of video production over the maximum allowed for a presentation (rounded to the nearest minute) there will an added charge of $1000.
For custom projects that do not fit the package options above, MediaDoor’s standard rate for Flash video production is a $1500 project fee plus $900 per finished minute, with a $5,000 contract minimum. For example, 4 videos that are 2-minutes each would be priced at $8700, ($1500 + $900 x 8). For larger contracts covering multiple products with common branding and graphic elements, discounts may apply.
Video Hosting
Once the videos have been completed the client make take delivery of the media files or may have them hosted by MediaDoor. MediaDoor’s video hosting service includes:
- Integrated multi-bitrate server-side transcoding into Flash 8
- Streaming and progressive download options
- Extensive media player library with custom-branding capability
- Streaming and storage powered by Akamai - the world's leading content delivery network
The fee for our service is $25 per month for the first video hosted, plus $5 for each additonal video. There is no contract or ongoing commiment to MediaDoor’s hosting service and the client may cancel the service at anytime with 30 days notice.
